I fell into the opportunity to learn deep tissue massage when I was attending Fort Lewis College in 2001. As soon as the learning commenced I knew bodywork was going to be my life long pursuit. After a couple of different bodywork mentorships in Durango, CO and a few years of work, I attended Crestone Healing Arts School in 2005 where I received certification as a massage therapist. After years of being a CMT I attended and graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration which is a part of the International Association of Structural Integrators in order to increase my knowledge and skill level to what I feel is the highest echelon of manual therapy.

I have had other pursuits as well. A large portion of my adult life was spent competing in 13 years of racing in the mountain running discipline. Within that pursuit and after, I have owned two small businesses. Between owning businesses and racing for a livelihood, with overlap of both, I am no stranger to major physical and mental stress. Through these experiences I have learned all the more about the body and mind, and the true human need for manual therapy.

The San Juan Mountains have been my home for 23 years, skiing is freedom to me, and continuing to learn more about the mind, body, spirit connection is my passion.
